How it works

Why this tool exists. Wedding catering is where planning most often goes wrong — not because the food is bad, but because the counts are unclear. Caterers need a clean split of adult, children's, supplier and dietary meals, and they need it in writing well before the day.

How to use it. Enter your confirmed guest split, pick a meal style and portion size, then log dietary counts by category. The output on the right recalculates instantly. When your RSVPs are final, click Print to hand the caterer a clean summary, or Copy to paste into an email.

What the contingency covers. Around 3–5% of meals typically need to absorb late RSVPs, day-of additions, staff swaps and any plated meals that need remaking. We default to 4%, rounded up.
